In March 2026, Green Team Partnership agreed a deal to install a 198 kWp farm rooftop system at a major grain drying site in Northumberland. With North East Grains’ consumption very high, the installation significantly reduces operational energy costs and carbon output.
The system is made up of 430 x JA Solar 460W modules, mounted on a trapezoidal roof using specialist equipment for maximum efficiency. There are also 2 x Solis high-performance inverters mounted externally. The install was completed in 4 weeks.
Impact and benefits
- Reduced cost. The client will benefit by over £25k per annum in reduced bills and revenue from export.
- Low-maintenance design. Quality components and professional installation keep the system producing for decades.
- Reduced reliance on fossil fuels. The project contributes directly to North East Grains’ aims to reduce carbon consumption.
