In March 2025, Green Team Partnership was commissioned to deliver a 113.4 kWp factory rooftop array for Damian Cronin’s factory in Benton. Rising energy costs and the growth of the site’s joinery manufacturing and construction operation made solar the most effective route to long-term savings.
The installation put 252 JA Deep Blue 4.0 Pro Series 450W modules on the building’s southeast roof for optimal generation, managed through a 100 kW Solis 5G inverter with real-time monitoring and full bird protection built into the design.
Impact and benefits
- Reduced operating costs. The system offsets a significant portion of daytime energy use, cutting bills and protecting the business from price volatility.
- Built for industry. Designed to support heavy plant and high-demand machinery with consistent renewable power.
- Optimised roof use. The southeast-oriented array maximises year-round generation without disrupting site operations.
- Smart monitoring. Management can see performance, health and savings in real time through the Solis 5G platform.
- Long-term reliability. Tier-one modules and full bird protection keep maintenance needs minimal.
