Newcastle City Council – Solar Panels
Flat-roof ballast solar panels system
Your Homes Newcastle, St Ann’s, Newcastle City Council
In 2015, Green Team Partnership installed 850 solar PV modules for Your Homes Newcastle at its St Ann’s site on behalf of Newcastle City Council. The flat-roof ballast system was designed to lower building energy consumption and support the Council’s long-term sustainability objectives.
Following the strong performance of this installation, the Council appointed Green Team Partnership again in 2023 to deliver a further 425 modules across 85 social housing properties in Walker, contributing to lower energy costs and reduced carbon footprints for tenants.
